I just want to say that I totally agree with the study. As a matter of fact, I brought this up in a conversation with my wife the other day after my app't with my lung doc, before I even read the above!

I was "doomed" before I was even born! Both of my parents amoked. Although my dad quit over 40 yrs ago, My mother eventually died in 1996. Cause: Lung Cancer! My dad is still going strong at 88 yrs old, going on 50!

In addition to my parents smoking and breathing in all of their smoke for my first 15 years, I didn't do myself any favors by starting my addiction when I was 15. For 50 years I puffed and puffed my life away. Hacking my way through my life. Today, I'm paying the awful price, just because "I wanted to be cool and be part of the in crowd."
